On October 6, Google announced a number of new features that will help users make eco-friendly travel decisions. These include the flights and hotels they choose, as well as their ground transportation. The company claims that the move is in response to the changing priorities of travelers who are more aware than ever of the fact that tourism is responsible for up to 8% of global greenhouse gas emission.
